Hough Green Garage is recruiting 7.5T and Class 2 Recovery Drivers and Heavy Recovery Drivers in Blackpool. This varied, fast-paced role requires adapting to different shifts and working independently to provide a professional, empathetic service during breakdowns.

You’ll recover vehicles, operate PDA systems, and help customers in stressful situations while maintaining safety and accuracy. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Formación

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• DCPC & Digital Tachograph Card must be held.
• Proven driving experience; recovery experience is desirable but not essential.
• Clean record and ability to pass Police vetting.
• Good local geographical knowledge and flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across our operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are completed using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.

Location: Blackpool FY4 4ES

Shifts: 4 on / 2 off - Alternative shifts can be discussed at interview

Hours: 12-hour shifts, Various start/finish times discussed at interview

Contract: Permanent | Weekly Pay | Full Training Provided

Must hold a 7.5T, HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence

Pay

• Up to £19.00ph dependant on shift and experience Class 1 heavy
• Up to £16.00ph dependant on shift and experience Class 2
• Up to £15.00ph dependant on shift and experience 7.5ton
• Additions: Call-out & Overtime

Due to continued growth and new contract wins, we are expanding our team and recruiting additional, 7.5T and Class 2 Recovery Drivers and Heavy Recovery Drivers.

Whether you're recovering a vehicle safely, transporting it to a garage, or helping a member continue their journey, you'll play a vital role in turning a stressful experience into a positive one.

What You'll Do

What You’ll Need

• Flexible approach to working hours

Additional Information

• Day roles include on-call requirements (explained at interview)
• Both day & night shift available
