Job summary

Hough Green Garage in Hereford is recruiting Recovery Drivers for 7.5t, HGV1 and HGV2 roles. This permanent position offers 12-hour shifts (4 on / 2 off) with various start times discussed at interview. Location: Hereford HR4 9NS.

Pay up to £19.00ph for Class 1 heavy, £16.00ph for Class 2, £15.00ph for 7.5t, with overtime and call-out options. We provide IVR-accredited training and a modern fleet, with PPE and uniform supplied.

Qualifications

• Need to be able to communicate clearly with customers.
• Able to work under pressure and independently.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and varying start times.
• Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes within the operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are recorded using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.
