Job summary

Hough Green Garage in Blackpool seeks motivated vehicle recovery drivers (7.5T, Class 2, or Class 1) to join a fast-paced team. You will attend breakdowns, recover and transport vehicles safely, complete checks, and use PDA systems for job updates.

Experience in recovery is desirable. A Full UK Driving Licence, DCPC, and Digital Tachograph Card are essential, with flexible hours and on-call options available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Proven driving experience in recovery is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused approach required.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across the operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are completed using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.
