Job summary

Hough Green Garage is hiring Recovery Drivers for 7.5T and HGV classes to cover Burnley and surrounding areas. You will attend breakdowns, safely recover and transport vehicles, and perform daily vehicle checks with PDA usage. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Roles are permanent with weekly pay and shifts include 12-hour days, with on-call possibilities. A full UK driving licence and CPC must be held, and candidates should be able to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 7.5T, HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• DCPC & Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Proven driving experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across our operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are completed using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.
