Job description

Overview

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of a million hours of their time to our organisation. Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers and make a real difference?

Responsibilities

At Change Grow Live, we believe groups are a great way to engage and connect with those who use our services. The Cambridgeshire Recovery service offers recovery cafes all over the Cambridgeshire County and needs support to run these sessions.

As a Recovery Cafe Support Volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting and co-facilitating our recovery cafes. You will be provided with training and supported to eventually be able to take the lead in delivering some of the Recovery cafes and providing support to clients within the group setting. You will also play a key role in the review and development of our Recovery cafes.

Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer, you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You don’t need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved.
