Job summary

Double Impact Services in Lincoln is seeking a Recovery and Community Activity Coordinator to lead a small team delivering The Link recovery activities and Beacon respite sessions. You will organise venues, resources, and schedules, and monitor delivery outcomes.

Rooted in peer support and strengths-based practice, the role focuses on wellbeing, community connections, and meaningful activities for families and individuals affected by substance-related harm.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly schedules, plans, and communication for a small team of Recovery Activity Planners delivering The Link recovery activities.
• Support planners delivering activities such as mutual aid connections (AA, NA, CA, SMART), recovery groups, walking groups, arts and crafts, gardening, and other community-based wellbeing sessions.
• Work in partnership with the Beacon Friends and Family Service to plan and arrange respite and wellbeing activities for families and affected others.
• Organise venues, resources, facilitators, and practical arrangements for both Link recovery activities and Beacon respite sessions.
• Monitor attendance, engagement, and feedback to support continuous improvement across both activity pathways.
• Manage and track agreed budgets for recovery and respite activities, working with budget holder(s) to ensure expenditure is controlled, delivers value for money, and is used effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports on activity delivery and outcomes.

Role Description

The Recovery and Community Activity Coordinator supports the delivery of two linked but distinct activity pathways within the Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership. The role coordinates a small team of Recovery Activity Planners delivering recovery-focused activities for The Link (the housing-related recovery element) and works closely with the Beacon Friends and Family Service to arrange, monitor, and evaluate respite and wellbeing activities for families and affected others. This role is rooted in peer support and strengths-based practice, ensuring both activity streams promote connection, wellbeing, and positive alternatives to substance-related harm.
