Job summary

Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure is seeking a Recorder Teacher to join the Redbridge Music Service on a maternity cover basis. The role involves delivering both group and individual recorder lessons at our Music School, with a focus on developing pupils' technique and ensemble skills.

The post is part-time (4 hours per week), on-site at our Hainault-based facility, and includes leading several ensembles. There may be additional teaching opportunities in schools depending on skills and

Qualifications

• Experience teaching recorder to individuals and groups.
• Ability to lead recorder ensembles and a recorder consort.
• Proven experience in music education and working with school-age pupils.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and individual recorder lessons.
• Lead Intermediate and Advanced Recorder Clubs and Recorder Consort.
• Teach on Thursday evenings starting 4:30pm.
• Potential additional teaching in schools or WCET.

We are looking for the following teacher to join our team:

Recorder Teacher

We are looking to appoint a recorder teacher to offer group and individual lessons at our Music School based in Hainault. The role includes a varied teaching commitment comprising individual lessons to more advanced pupils and 3 ensembles: Intermediate and Advanced Recorder Clubs and the Recorder Consort. There is approximately 4 hours of teaching in total which takes place on a Thursday evening from 4:30pm.

There could be additional teaching opportunities available depending on the skills and experience of the appointed candidate. This could include small group lessons in schools and/or WCET (whole class) teaching.
