Job summary

Redbridge Music Service is seeking an experienced upper strings teacher to join a team of 12 string teachers. The role involves individual and small-group lessons in schools, WCET teaching, and working with clubs and ensembles.

Based at the John Savage Centre in Hainault, you will teach across 52 Redbridge schools and contribute to a busy concert calendar. Candidates should have a music degree, strong performance on their main instrument, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Music degree or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication.
• High level of performance on your main instrument.
• Knowledge of the technical demands of any instrument you are competent to teach.

Responsibilities

• Teach upper strings in schools, WCET, clubs and ensembles.
• Deliver individual and small-group lessons.
• Contribute to 52 Redbridge schools and ensemble programs.
• Support pupils of all ages, including adults.
