Glenpark Medical Practice is seeking receptionists and administrators to join our busy team across two Gateshead sites. The role involves front-facing patient contact, handling enquiries, and supporting the smooth running of the practices.

Glenpark & Teams Medical Services is a busy general practice based in Teams and Dunston, Gateshead. We operate across two sites and offer primary care services to over 14,500 patients.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team of dynamic and forward-thinking receptionists and administrators based over both sites.
Hours: Full time or part time considered
Interview date: Thursday 8th October 2026
You will be the first point of contact for patients and will project a positive and friendly image to both patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
You will receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective manner.
You will also undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practices.
The successful candidate will be well organised, have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
Glenpark & Teams Medical Services have been serving the surrounding area for over 100 years.
The Practices are situated with easy access to the A1 and the Metro Centre.
The Practice boundary covers Dunston, Whickham, Swalwell, Lobley Hill, Teams and some of Bensham.
