Do you have administration experience within a school environment? Support [%openinglov_13878%] in the smooth running of our administration office and wider academy. We are looking for a Receptionist and Administrator to work within our Admin Office.

We are a two-form primary academy situated in the heart of Beckenham, South London, with the advantage of being set in beautiful grounds within a conservation area. We have a brand new, light and spacious building with excellent facilities and state-of-the-art ICT provision.

At Harris Primary Academy Beckenham, every child is valued as an individual and encouraged to discover and nurture their special gifts and talents through a stimulating curriculum that goes beyond the basic natural curriculum requirements.

The purpose of your role will be:

  1. To manage the reception area and be the first point of contact for all visitors to the academy, staff, and students.
  2. To manage pupil attendance and assist with admissions. To manage first aid and medical requirements for the academy.
  3. To provide administrative support to contribute to the smooth running of the academy.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Qualifications to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Competency in the use of Microsoft Office packages
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and databases
  • Previous experience in an administrative or front office/reception role
  • Demonstrable customer service experience

Qualifications to A Level and experience of working in a school or educational establishment would be desirable but not essential.
