Job description

Receptionist/Administration Officer

Pay rate £13.61 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting for a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to work in various Yorkshire locations.

Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team or independently using your own initiative. Duties include:

  • Minute taking at multi-agency meetings
  • Reception duties
  • Dealing with telephone calls from the public and colleagues
  • Room bookings
  • Financial and general administrative tasks to support senior managers, social work teams, and other professionals
  • Regularly updating our social care recording system

Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial, as many tasks must be completed within statutory timescales.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, full awareness of data protection and confidentiality is essential, as the role involves handling highly sensitive and emotive information, including details related to abuse and injuries of children and young people.

We are recruiting four people at different locations:

  • Locality Cluster Building, Stanley Street, WF1 1NB
  • Snapethorpe Family Time Centre, WF2 8YA
  • Airdale Centre, Castlefield, WF10 3JJ
  • Normanton, WF6 2DZ
