PortmanDentex in York is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our welcoming reception team at Acomb. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling calls and bookings with professionalism.

Great dentistry starts with a friendly face at reception.

• £12.71 per hour


• Typical shifts are Monday to Thursday, 07:45-17:15 and Friday 07:45-13:15

About you

We’d love to receive your application to our Receptionist vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous front of house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, although this isn’t a must-have)


• A positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised


• Great communication skills, with a passion for delivering great service and building strong relationships with both colleagues and patients
