Job summary

Grosvenor Southend is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome guests, answer queries and help create a memorable casino visit. You will be the first point of contact, delivering high-quality service in a lively, 24/7 casino environment.

Applicants should be 18+, eligible to work in the UK, and capable of evening and weekend shifts. The role offers opportunities for progression within Grosvenor Casinos and The Rank Group.

As a Receptionist, your role is pivotal in setting the tone for our guests' experience from the moment they step through our doors. Your welcoming smile, enthusiastic greeting, and genuine care are the first impression our customers have of our business, making you an essential part of our team.

With your passion for people and excellent social skills shining through, you will not just welcome our guests but entertain them, ensuring their visit starts on a high note.

Your role goes beyond typical reception duties; you’ll create a memorable, engaging atmosphere that exceeds our guests' expectations.

You’ll focus on making each interaction enjoyable and meaningful, ensuring our guests feel valued and well taken care of.

Skills & Experience Needed

To be successful in this role you’ll need a positive, can-do attitude with a real passion for entertaining customers and delivering an exceptionally high service as well as experience of working successfully in a hospitality role.

Please be advised that this role operates within a 24/7 casino environment and will require flexibility to work night shifts and weekends. Shift lengths may vary from the standard 8 hour shift. Potential for additional hours and or overtime.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and have the legal right to work in the UK.
