Job summary

Seaham Hall is seeking a Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our luxury hotel. You’ll work closely with the Reception and Reservations teams to ensure every guest journey is seamless, personal, and warmly professional.

This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays, with shift times from early to late. A passion for guest service and strong communication are essential qualities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience a bonus).
• Genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professional presentation.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office; PMS knowledge is a plus (training provided).
• A team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable transport, given early starts and late finishes.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as the first point of contact and ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Collaborate with Reception and Reservations teams to maintain a high standard of service.
• Support the hotel’s brand by delivering warm, professional service.
