Great Western in Newquay is seeking a welcoming Receptionist to greet guests, manage check-ins, and provide top-notch customer service at a cliff-top hotel and pub setting.

You'll be the friendly first point of contact, handling reservations and guest inquiries while coordinating with the team to ensure a memorable stay in our Cornish paradise.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly, professional guest service.
• Comfort with daily guest interactions and check-in processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer enquiries and provide information about local attractions.

Set in the heart of Newquay, the Great Western enjoys unrivalled views over golden sands and out to sea from its clifftop garden, terrace, restaurant, and hotel-style accommodation.
You’ll be working in a Cornish paradise that’s renowned for its eclectic surf lifestyle that attracts visitors far and wide. Our doors first opened in 1879 with support from the local steam railway. The bar is fondly known as ‘Steam’ by many to this day.

We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our close-knit team. Creating a warm welcome to guests comes naturally to you, making every first impression count to ensure experiences delight from the get-go.
