The Great Western in Newquay, part of St Austell Brewery, is looking for a Receptionist to join our friendly pub-hospitality team by the clifftop. You’ll greet guests, manage check-ins, and help create a warm first impression that sets the tone for every visit.

Job description

Set in the heart of Newquay, the Great Western enjoys unrivalled views over golden sands and out to sea from its clifftop garden, terrace, restaurant, and hotel-style accommodation.

You’ll be working in a Cornish paradise that’s renowned for its eclectic surf lifestyle that attracts visitors far and wide. Our doors first opened in 1879 with support from the local steam railway. The bar is fondly known as ‘Steam’ by many to this day.

We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our close-knit team. Creating a warm welcome to guests comes naturally to you, making every first impression count to ensure experiences delight from the get-go.
