We are seeking a Front of House Receptionist to play a key role in creating a professional and welcoming experience for clients, visitors, suppliers, and colleagues at Portman Finance Group.

This role sits at the heart of the business, acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming communications while providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception area, handling incoming telephone calls and enquiries, coordinating meeting rooms, and supporting various departments with administrative tasks. They will ensure all visitors receive an excellent first impression of the business while maintaining an organised, efficient, and professional front-of-house environment.

Working closely with teams across the business, the Receptionist will help support daily operations, coordinate office activities, and contribute to creating a positive and productive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, visitors, suppliers, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for internal and external meetings.
  • Offer refreshments to visitors and ensure meeting rooms are prepared before and after use.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as required.

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and building management regarding office maintenance and facilities.

Requirements

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or customer service role.
