Middlewood Clinic in Midhurst, West Sussex, is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls, and support the reception team. You will manage the diary, handle emails and post, and help maintain a safe, confidential environment for service users and staff.

You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Middlewood Clinic in Midhurstwill experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users.

What you will be doing

In this exciting role at Middlewood,a service for people with eating disorder,each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.

Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You'll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

This is a full time position of 37.5 hours a week. The shift pattern is preferably Monday-Friday. 8am-4pm. We can also accommodate 8:30am-4:30pm.

As a Receptionist you will be:

• Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring the sign the visitor book.
• Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area & meeting rooms are presentable.
• Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions.
• Ensuring confidentially and security to the service.
• Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, emails and post.
• Ad hoc administration tasks.
• Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.

Where you will be working:

Location: Little Ashfield, Midhurst, West Sussex, GU29 9JP

Middlewood Clinic provide care and treatment for men and women who have an eating disorder including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and atypical eating disorders. Our approach will be to restore a healthy body weight and address psychological problems during treatment.

The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) at Middlewood Clinic will be made up of the Registered Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nurses, Healthcare Workers, Psychologist, Dietician, Occupational Therapist and Social Worker.

The hospital will have 12 comfortable ensuite bedrooms and a variety of communal and recreational spaces including lounge areas, a light and airy dining room, activities room, visitors room, therapy rooms, therapy kitchen area and a lovely cottage style garden.
