The Opportunity

Are you looking to develop your skill-set and join one of the fastest growing dental groups in the UK? We have an exciting new opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team at our mixed NHS and private practice in Ipswich.

Our Practice Team is at the heart of our business, and we want everyone to feel their role is a vocation, not just a job.

This is a part-time opportunity, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 08:15 to 17:15. There will also be a requirement to cover our full-time receptionist during absences, and some training outside of working hours is compulsory.

The role's purpose is to provide high-quality reception and administration services to ensure patient satisfaction, excellent service, and maximum contribution to practice efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability, in line with GDC guidelines and practice policies. It also involves establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all team members.

Requirements

We seek a friendly and enthusiastic individual with strong receptionist or administration experience, and the following qualities:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to operate computer-based systems
  • Knowledge of working with systems is advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and progress
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage varied workload
  • Attention to detail and initiative
  • Well-presented, motivated, and able to work independently and within a team
