DCHS is seeking a part-time receptionist for New Mills Health Centre in Derbyshire. Responsible for a busy reception area, liaising with members of the general public, services and departments and external organisations, both face to face and over the phone.
Provide an effective reception service using verbal and written communication to liaise with patients, relatives, staff and external agencies to support the delivery of an efficient patient service. Ensuring all patients are booked into appointments correctly and directing them appropriately on arrival. Provide administrative support around waiting list for Podiatry patients as advised by the Podiatry team e.g registering new patients, appointment cancellation, and re-arrangement.
Answer patient queries and signpost to appropriate local services.
