Job summary

lyf George Square Glasgow is seeking a receptionist with a warm, outgoing personality to create memorable guest experiences. You’ll handle check‑in/check‑out, assist with requests, and share favourite local spots to help guests feel like locals.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of lyf. Give guests a warm welcome, a smooth check-in and a goodbye that makes them want to come back
• Make the magic happen. Help Guests with questions, requests, recommendations and those little extras that make a big difference
• Keep things running smoothly. Manage arrivals, departures, reservations, payments and the occasional unexpected plot twist
• Spread the local love. Share your favourite spots, hidden gems and insider tips to help guest experience the neighbourhood like a local
• Bring the energy. Help create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where guests feel comfortable connecting, relaxing and being themselves
• Be a problem-solving pro. When thing's don't go to plan, bring a cool head, and can-do attitude and a solution-focused mindset
• Be part of the crew. Work with your teammates across the property to make every guest experience feel effortless
