Job summary

lyf George Square Glasgow is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. You will help maintain exceptional cleanliness, presentation and hygiene standards throughout guest rooms and public areas, creating a welcoming environment for guests.

You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and collaborate with other departments to ensure high-quality service. The role requires attentiveness, flexibility and a strong team spirit in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all control measures set by HOD are followed at all times.
• Demonstrate the ability to proactively prioritise needs of the departments and effectively manage resources and time.
• Be aware of housekeeping SOPs and Health & Safety procedures.
• Demonstrate personal ownership of the tasks and follow through to get optimum results.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects when required.
• Perform turndown duties when required.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality service.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys building strong relationships with clients, and has a natural ability to identify and develop new business. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager, in this role, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene standards throughout guest rooms and public areas. The successful candidate will help to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests while ensuring all housekeeping duties are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

A Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for:

• Ensuring all control measures set by HOD are followed all the time
