The Mercure Bridgwater Hotel is located in the heart of Bridgwater town center and offers 119, 4-star bedrooms, complemented by a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill.

Job Description

This Receptionist position is suitable for someone with a previous customer service background. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required, as full reception training will be provided. In an open-plan reception area, you will serve as the hotel host, responsible for meeting and greeting all guests and being their first point of contact at the hotel.

The position

· Availability for both early (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and late (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) shifts is required. Due to the nature of the business, a mix of weekdays, weekends, and public holidays will be worked.

· Passion for customer service.

· Checking guests in and out of the hotel.

· Making hotel and restaurant bookings.

· Processing payments and ensuring correct billing procedures.

· Serving as a key member of the front-of-house team and the "face" of the hotel, representing the property and providing excellent customer service at all times.
