Job summary

The Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club is seeking a welcoming Receptionist to join our busy front desk team. You will greet guests, handle inquiries, and ensure a high standard of service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will support guests with efficiency and a courteous manner, while upholding company values and delivering a memorable guest experience at all times.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Enthusiastic about change, detail-oriented and trustworthy.
• Excellent customer service and professional manner.
• Experience in hospitality front desk is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner and provide courteous service.
• Handle guest requests and queries efficiently and professionally, in person or over the phone.
• Work within a busy front desk team and contribute to a high standard of service.

Job description

The Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club is set in peaceful Warwickshire countryside and is well placed for access to Birmingham, Coventry, and other major centres. Birmingham Airport, the National Exhibition Centre and motorway links to the M6 and M42 are all within a few miles of the hotel.

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join our Truly Talented team.

Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, this is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenge and wants to join a fast-paced, busy and hardworking team environment.

Asa Receptionist, you will provide courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintain the levels of service to the highest standards at all times.

You will be responsible for greeting guests in a warm, friendly manner and be a true ambassador for excellent service, dealing with all requests and queries in an efficient and professional manner, whether face-to-face or over the telephone.

You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.

Responsibilities of a Receptionist will include but are not limited to:

• To be totally guest focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach;
• To gain experience in all sections of the front desk department and ensure company and legal requirements are maintained;
• To promote the company values and behaviours at all times.

The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
