Job summary

Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club is seeking a self‑motivated Commis Chef to join our Truly Talented kitchen team in Birmingham. We offer a permanent, full‑time contract (40hrs per week) with a competitive hourly wage of £13.00.

You will be part of a busy kitchen, bringing flair and creativity to the menu while learning and growing in a supportive team environment. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible to commence employment.
• We value a passionate, detail‑oriented chef with flair and creativity.
• Experience in hospitality or service‑based environments is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cook and assist in producing high‑quality dishes from the best ingredients.
• Work as part of a busy kitchen team and continually learn and develop.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety in line with policy.

The Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club is set in peaceful Warwickshire countryside and is well placed for access to Birmingham, Coventry, and other major centres. Birmingham Airport, the National Exhibition Centre and motorway links to the M6 and M42 are all within a few miles of the hotel.

We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and passionate Commis Chef to join our Truly Talented kitchen team!
