An established industry player is looking for a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team for the upcoming academic year. This role involves delivering a well-balanced curriculum that nurtures young learners through play-based and structured learning. The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage. In addition to fostering a stimulating classroom environment, you will build strong relationships with children and parents while collaborating with the Early Years team. We are seeking a caring, creative and dedicated Reception Teacher to join an Early Years team for the 2025–2026 academic year. The successful candidate will nurture and inspire young learners as they begin their school journey, delivering a well-balanced curriculum that supports both academic and personal development through play-based and structured learning.
Duties as Reception Year Teacher:
Deliver high-quality, child-centred teaching in line with the EYFS framework
Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Support children’s development across all areas of learning, with a strong focus on communication, phonics, and early maths
Observe, assess and record progress using appropriate tools (e.g., Tapestry or equivalent)
Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Collaborate with the Early Years team and contribute to wider school life
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and principles of early childhood education
A nurturing, patient, and positive approach to teaching
Excellent communication and classroom organisation skills as a Reception Year Teacher.
