Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is supporting a welcoming primary school in the Blackfield/Fawley area to recruit a Year R Class Teacher. The role covers a 25-pupil class with a December start for handover and a January 2027 takeover. The assignment runs for the rest of the academic year, with pay in line with scale.

You will deliver EYFS-aligned lessons, work with support staff, and foster an inclusive, high-quality learning environment to build on the class's current progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• KS1 experience desirable.
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
• Passionate about supporting Children's early education.
• Able to commit for the remainder of the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Full class teaching responsibility for a Year R class of 25 pupils.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
• Work closely with experienced support staff and the wider school team.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Continue the excellent progress already being made within the class.
