Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking a Hotel Receptionist at the Days Inn Gretna Green to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs and handle bookings and payments. You will be the first and last point of contact, ensuring every guest feels at home and well cared for during their stay.

The role involves working across shift patterns (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and occasional night shifts) with full training provided. This part-time position offers meals on shift and staff discounts.

This position is 22.5 hours over 3 days.

Shift patterns are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and occasional night shift holiday and sickness cover 11pm-7am

Earn up to £12.85 per hour, plus £1 meals on every shift

As a Hotel Receptionist at our Welcome Break Days Inn hotel, you’ll be the friendly face guests see first (and the helpful voice they speak to last!)

From smooth check‑ins and check‑outs to answering questions and keeping everything organised behind the desk, you’ll help create a great stay for every guest.

What you’ll do as a Hotel Receptionist :

• Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, and make sure everyone has what they need for a great stay
• Handle bookings and payments, answer calls and guest questions, and keep the reception area tidy and welcoming
• Follow health & safety and security procedures, complete checks as trained, and elevate guest issues quickly and confidently
