Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced Reception Teacher to join a South Harrow primary school from January 2027.

You will lead an EYFS class, delivering a play-based curriculum rooted in the EYFS framework and Development Matters, while delivering high-quality early reading with phonics. You will work with a supportive EYFS team, maintain learning journeys, assess progress and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential for the role.
• Experience teaching Reception or Nursery within a primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
• Confident delivery of systematic synthetic phonics and early reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a rich, play-based EYFS curriculum.
• Assess pupils and maintain accurate learning journeys.
• Collaborate with SENCO and EYFS team to support all learners.
• Build positive relationships with families and the local community.
