Job description

Are you a passionate Reception Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a GOOD-rated Primary School? We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming school in Dursley for the Summer Term. This role is perfect for an experienced Class Teacher or an Early Years specialist eager to support young learners' development in line with the EYFS and National Curriculum.

Job Role:

  • Full Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment in Key Stage 1 (KS1)
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support positive learning outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to enhance pupil progress
  • Part-time position - working 4 days per week for the Summer Term

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Experience as a Reception Teacher or in Early Years education
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and National Curriculum
  • Ability to implement excellent behaviour management strategies
  • Experience working in a Primary School setting with Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils

Working as a Reception Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you:

  • £162.30 - £223.62 per day, equating to £31,650 - £43,607 per annum (based on 5 days per week)
