Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a Brent primary school on a long-term basis for a Reception class.

You will plan and deliver a rich EYFS curriculum with a strong emphasis on phonics, early reading and developing children's confidence, independence and social skills, while collaborating with the EYFS team.

The role offers either full-time or part-time hours and an ASAP start, with a collaborative EYFS team and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or an appropriate teaching qualification.
• Phonics training and practical experience delivering phonics.
• Excellent classroom management and organisation skills.
• Previous experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the EYFS curriculum.
• Teach phonics effectively and support early reading skills.
• Create a stimulating Reception learning environment.
• Balance adult-led and child-initiated learning.

Job description

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Teacher to join their team and teach a Reception class on a long-term basis.

About the role

As the Reception Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering an engaging EYFS curriculum that supports children’s academic, social and emotional development. You will create opportunities for children to learn through a combination of structured teaching, play-based activities and practical experiences.

A key part of the role will be delivering effective phonics teaching, so the school is particularly keen to hear from teachers with phonics training and experience. You will work closely with the EYFS team to monitor children’s progress and ensure learning is appropriately adapted to meet individual needs.

Requirements
