Job summary

Ivy Resource Group in Stroud is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support reception pupils in a vibrant primary school. The full-time role offers a daily rate of £85-£100 (holiday pay accrued) and starts ASAP.

You will provide personalised support, collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, assist with activities, adapt learning plans, and help manage behaviour to support each child's growth.

Qualifications

• At least 30 days experience working with children.
• Compassion and enthusiasm to support young learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to the assigned student, ensuring their academic and emotional needs are met.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, individualized learning plans, and behaviour management.
• Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere for the student's growth.
