Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is seeking a Leaning Support Assistant to join a secondary centre in Cheltenham on a long-term, full-time basis. You will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, collaborate with teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment, and assist with IEP implementation.

The role requires prior experience with children and strong communication and teamwork skills, with a daily pay rate of £95-£115 including holiday accrual.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (30 days minimum within the past 2 years).
• Proactive and patient approach to working with young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Work closely with class teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
