Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel, London Leicester Square is hiring a Reception Shift Leader to oversee day-to-day reception operations and supervise the team in the manager's absence. You will ensure courteous, efficient service and act as an ambassador for exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a passion for hospitality, previous receptionist/supervisory experience, and a strong leadership presence to motivate staff and uphold high standards of service across all guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
• Experience in reception or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to coach a team.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Proactive problem-solving and guest-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be guest-focused and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with staff rotas, appraisals and training.
• Ensure smooth running of the Reception and proper handovers.
• Build strong relationships with staff and guests; demonstrate teamwork.
• Use guest names and maintain a courteous, helpful attitude at all times.
• Record guest feedback and maintenance notes for follow-up.
• Promote company values and adherence to procedures.
• Support Front Office operations during busy periods.
