Job summary

Connex Education are seeking a Primary Teacher for a large mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough. The role is for an EYFS Reception class starting on 1st June 2026, with cover likely through the end of July 2026 and potential extension to Sept 2026.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30–3:30, with a supportive school team and Connex Education offering PAYE paid weekly and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Status and current DBS or willingness to apply.
• Experience teaching pupils in a primary school setting.
• Confident covering and teaching a full KS2 classroom.
• Good knowledge of KS2 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach a Reception class in an EYFS setting.
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s EYFS curriculum.
• Be present and punctual in a full-time schedule 8:30–3:30, Monday to Friday.
