Job summary

E-ACT Braintcroft Academy in London is seeking a Class Teacher for Reception to inspire early learners within an inclusive, vibrant community.

You will plan and deliver high-quality EYFS experiences, assess progress, and build strong relationships with families while safeguarding pupils. This role offers a supportive environment with a strong values-driven Trust and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• QTS recognised teaching certification.
• GCSEs in English, Maths and Science.
• Proven experience delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills enabling positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Ability to create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment aimed at learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to the academy's values and ethos, contributing positively to its culture and community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework, ensuring all children make excellent progress from their starting points.
• Establish a safe, stimulating, and welcoming classroom where children feel valued, develop confidence, and are encouraged to explore, learn, and achieve.
• Observe, assess, and track children's development across all areas of learning, using assessment information to inform planning and support individual needs.
• Develop positive relationships with parents and carers, maintaining effective communication to support children's learning, wellbeing, and successful transition into school life.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils, ensuring their social, emotional, and academic needs are met while contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
