St Bede Academy in Bolton is seeking a Reception Class Teacher on maternity cover to deliver high-quality learning for our EYFS cohort. You will plan, teach and assess using the EYFS framework, promoting a safe, inclusive environment and encouraging language and early numeracy development.

The role is on the M1–M5 pay scale, with responsibilities across safeguarding, inclusion and parental engagement. You will work with the SENDCo and colleagues to ensure every child makes progress and

Qualifications

• Qualified EYFS/Reception teacher with current teaching status.
• Experience delivering EYFS curriculum.
• Ability to assess and track progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver EYFS lessons in line with EYFS framework.
• Create safe, inclusive environment promoting independence and curiosity.
• Use play-based and direct teaching to support progress across learning areas.
• Assess and record children’s development and communicate progress to parents.
• Collaborate with parents, SENDCo and colleagues to support all learners.
• Uphold professional standards and engage in ongoing professional development.
