The Role

As a Reception Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum, ensuring children receive the very best start to their education.

  • Encourage the development of early communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development skills.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to maximise pupil outcomes.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, wellbeing, attendance, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school through school events, initiatives, and enrichment opportunities.
