Job summary

Places for People in the United Kingdom is seeking a friendly receptionist to provide daily front‑of‑house service, support on‑site catering, manage meetings and events, and handle stock, IT systems, and workplace facilities.

You will engage with colleagues and customers, ensure health and safety standards, and support flexible/part‑time hours from 8am to 12pm, with opportunities for development within a diverse, community‑focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental Health and Safety Legislation
• Experience of customer services, hospitality, catering and administrative work
• Understanding of COSHH Regulations and food hygiene

Responsibilities

• Provide daily reception service and support on-site catering needs
• Handle stock control, catering for meetings and manage coffee machines
• Operate IT systems (Sign In App, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and maintain common areas
