Job summary

Jobwise Ltd is seeking a Receptionist / Front of House Host to cover multiple short- and long-term assignments across prestigious properties. You will greet guests, answer calls, manage bookings, and support staff with high-quality customer service in a busy front-of-house environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour and weekly pay. This is a flexible temporary position with paid holidays up to 28 days per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication skills and friendliness.
• Well organised with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Cover assignments varying in length for leave, training and sickness.
• Provide reception support and ensure quality customer service for guests and staff.
• Be first point of contact for visitors, greeting them on arrival and handling enquiries.
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person.
• Manage conference room bookings and arrange refreshments and catering.
• Perform ad hoc reception duties as needed.

What you will be doing as a Receptionist /Front of House Host?

• This role would consist of multiple assignments varying in length to cover annual leave, training and sickness
• Responsible for providing Reception support and ensuring seamless and quality customer service for all guests and employees at the company
• Be the first point of call for all guests & visitors - greeting them on arrival and handling their enquiries
• Answering and directing phone calls
• Managing conference room bookings and ensuring that they are set up and ready for use. Arranging refreshment and catering requests
• Additional ad hoc reception duties as they arise

What experience do you require for the Receptionist /Front of House Host?

• A background in hospitality, Front of House or within a customer-oriented business
• Previous experience in reception or hosting would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service and well organised
