Qualifications

• Strong Core Java development skills with solid OO and API design.
• Proven ability to build low-latency, event-driven real-time systems.
• Deep knowledge of multi-threading and memory management.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, retries and resilience patterns.
• Experience operating production systems on Unix or Linux; logging, metrics, tracing.
• Ability to define and implement system architecture with clear data contracts.
• SDLC discipline: unit/integration tests, regression tests, performance tests.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and evolution of the real-time position and risk platform, including architecture, patterns, performance and resilience.
• Deliver real-time position keeping across trade lifecycle events.
• Build real-time risk capabilities: risk factor ingestion, curves, scenarios, and P&L explainability.
• Implement straight-through processing, reconciliation, data quality checks, audit trails, observability.
• Partner with execution and booking teams to define robust integrations and data contracts.
• Own non-functional requirements: latency budgets, throughput, determinism, fault tolerance, and recovery.
• Act as SME for stakeholders with clear business-oriented tradeoffs.
• Raise engineering standards: coding practices, testing strategy, CI/CD, release discipline.
• Drive design reviews and execution discipline for scalable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and support hiring, onboarding, and team development.
