Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Treatment Scheduler in Oncology & Haematology. You will schedule SACT treatments in real time across PAS and ARIA, prepare discharge letters, and greet patients on arrival to ensure safety and a smooth workflow.

You will collaborate with nurses, clinicians and radiotherapy teams to plan appointments and maintain waiting lists with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and organisational skills in a busy department.
• Ability to schedule treatments in real time using specialized hospital systems.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team including nurses, clinicians and haematology/oncology staff.

Responsibilities

• Use judgement and medical terminology knowledge to schedule chemotherapy and radiotherapy appointments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, clinicians, pharmacists and other hospital departments.
• Ensure patients are admitted and discharged properly and that waiting times are monitored.
• Add patients to PAS waiting list and book appointments for chemotherapy and other procedures on WDU.
• Inform Admin/Operational Managers about waiting times and potential issues.
