Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Lead Data Architect for News Engineering to define and evolve data architecture that powers our real-time news platform. You will lead end-to-end decisions on ingestion, enrichment, storage, indexing and distribution, developing standards, schemas, and contracts for news content and metadata.

Collaborate with engineering to improve discovery through standardized data models and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Architect or Technical Architect for real-time data systems.
• Strong data modeling skills and contract definition experience.
• A track record designing low-latency, high-throughput architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data architecture decisions for real-time News ingestion, enrichment, storage, indexing and distribution.
• Develop data standards, schemas, and contracts for content and metadata.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve signal discoverability and standardization.
• Ensure observability and data lineage across the platform.
