Job summary

LSEG is seeking a Lead News Data Architect to define and evolve the data architecture for its real-time News platform, delivering richly structured and searchable data to customers worldwide in sub-second time.

You will be a hands-on architect, leading through influence and shaping platform-wide decisions around data modeling, metadata standards, and search technologies, with emphasis on reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect or Technical Architect.
• Proven skills in data modeling and contract definition.
• Experience designing low-latency, high-throughput architectures.
• Familiarity with streaming, event-driven and cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to lead by influence and communicate ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data architecture decisions for real-time news ingestion and distribution.
• Develop data standards, schemas, and contracts for content and metadata.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve signal discoverability and observability.
