Job summary

Shell is seeking a Real-Time Market Data & Analytics Lead to drive adoption, governance, and evolution of Shell Energy’s real-time data and analytics capabilities. You will lead low-latency market data platforms, ticker plants, and time-series architectures across Front Office, Quant, Risk, and Trading Tech.

You’ll collaborate with traders, quants, and vendors to ensure data is acquired, normalised, distributed, and governed enterprise-wide, shaping architecture and analytics strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in commodities trading or electronic market environments.
• Proven ability to build/operate real-time market data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of low-latency data architectures and direct exchange connectivity.
• Proficiency with FIX protocol and market data connectivity.
• Experience with large-scale real-time and historical datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy execution for real-time market data and analytics.
• Govern data quality, lineage, and entitlement across platforms.
• Drive adoption of real-time data platforms and standards.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Quants, Risk and Technology teams.
• Represent Shell to vendors and external partners.
