Job summary

JUXT is seeking a Front End Engineer to join our London embedded engineering team, delivering modern React applications for electronic trading platforms.

You’ll design and build high-performance front-end systems, migrate legacy Angular/AngularJS workstreams to React, and collaborate with backend Java engineers to ship end-to-end trading workflows. Real-time data, WebSockets and streaming tech underpin daily work.

Qualifications

• Strong React and TypeScript experience.
• Experience delivering complex production front-end applications.
• Experience consuming real-time streaming data using WebSockets, RSocket or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance React and TypeScript applications.
• Build responsive user interfaces supporting pricing, execution and post-trade workflows.
• Consume and process real-time market data using WebSockets, RSocket and messaging technologies.
• Develop reusable UI components and shared application frameworks.
• Migrate legacy Angular and AngularJS applications onto modern React architecture.
• Collaborate closely with backend Java engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Build automated UI testing using Playwright, Cypress or similar frameworks.
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Deploy applications through modern CI/CD pipelines into containerised production environments.
