Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking a Front-End Engineer to join our Quant / Research team in London. You will build next-generation front-end systems powering real-time trading, with live insights and streaming data.

Work closely with quants to translate complex models into intuitive interfaces, delivering high-performance UIs for large datasets and real-time visualisations, leveraging React, TypeScript and Next.js in a modern stack.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with React, TypeScript and Next.js
• Some Python experience
• Solid CS fundamentals (degree preferred but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Build front-end systems powering real-time trading
• Craft interactive dashboards with live insights and streaming data
• Collaborate with quants to translate complex models into intuitive interfaces
• Develop high-performance UIs for large datasets and real-time visualisations
• Bring real-time ML insights to life
• Implement real-time data streaming and WebSocket interfaces
• Apply modern React patterns and optimize performance in mission-critical apps
• Shape the future of trading interfaces with the latest front-end tech
