You will work with Product, UX, Quant and Trading teams to shape architecture, drive React/TypeScript development, optimise latency, and ensure robust CI/CD and observability.

Lead UI Developer - Front Office Trading Platform | London

I’m currently working on a Senior UI engineering opportunity within a global financial markets environment, building a next-generation trading platform used by Sales, Trading, and institutional clients.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of front-end architecture, real-time data, and capital markets.

What you’ll be working with:

• WebSockets / Server-Sent Events
• High-performance data-heavy UIs and trading blotters
• Market data, pricing, RFQ, order entry and trade capture
• Front-end architecture, reusable components and design systems
• Performance optimisation and low-latency rendering
• Automated testing, CI/CD and observability
• Secure UI development within a highly regulated environment

The role would suit someone with experience across:

• Front Office / Trading technology
• Real-time financial applications
• Market data, pricing or execution workflows
• High-performance React/TypeScript applications
• Reactive programming / RxJS
• Capital Markets - FX, Rates, Credit, Equities or Commodities

You’ll work closely with Product, UX, Quant, Pricing, Execution and Risk teams, while helping shape the architecture and technical direction of the platform.
