KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions LTD is helping an innovative technology company recruit an AI Engineer to design and build embedded software, data pipelines and ML systems behind their sensing and communications technology.

You will join a small team that owns the full SDLC, taking ideas from concept to tested code in live deployments with real influence on product direction and architecture.

Qualifications

• Two years' industry experience.
• Degree-level qualification or above.
• Fluency in C, C++ and Python with SQL experience.
• Analytical mindset and ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, real-time embedded software in C and C++ for microelectronics and sensors.
• Implement and optimise communication protocols.
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines for ML and manage model versioning.
• Develop generative AI and LLM systems including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and fine-tuning.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Spark or dbt for training and inference.
• Design and deploy data collection systems for remote environments and IoT data services.
• Maintain SQL databases and perform unit/integration/HiL testing to ensure reliability.
• Contribute across the full SDLC and align technical solutions with market needs.
