Job summary

Ecm Selection is partnering with a Cambridge-based medical systems creator to recruit an exceptional C++ software engineer. You will help design real-time control systems and user interfaces for healthcare devices, liaising with clients and cross-disciplinary colleagues.

The role requires strong C++ on Linux, Python for tests, and familiarity with Git and GoogleTest. Some travel within the UK and abroad is expected. Hybrid work is available with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Good degree (2.1 or above) in CS/Electronics or related engineering.
• Commercial experience in real-time multithreaded C++ on Linux.
• Python for automated tests and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement dependable real-time control systems and interfaces.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-disciplinary teams across electronics and mechanical engineering.
